Pictures

We got the kids pictures taken by a great photographer. She does really cute stuff. Unfortunately Crew was the craziest kid ever and wouldn't let her do her thing very easily. Thanks to Jared and Abby (and patient Gracie) for their help, since Spence had to go out of town last minute. I couldn't have survived without them. Brady and Avery did great and Ruby got a few cute shots before needing to eat or nap. Mindy had a few pics posted on her blog.

Crew's Bday!

What a happy day! Elmo AND frosting! What a perfect combination. I can't believe how old (mischievous, sweet, loving and a little more mischievous) Crew is! He had a great birthday. Spence took him to Chuck E Cheese for some one-on-one rides and games. Crew was in HEAVEN! Another perfect combo. Dad and Chuck E!

Ruby!

She is finally here! A week late but Ruby Lee finally came (much to her mother's happiness!). She was born on November 12th, 8 lbs 13 ounces, 20.5 inches. She is so sweet and such a calm baby. She doesn't really cry, she squeaks. We are all in love with our little girl. Her sister and older brother can't get enough! Crew thinks she is "coote" and will take five seconds to kiss her head. We are so happy to have her!

Halloween is for smiles

We had plenty of smiles on Halloween! Between the fun costumes and candy, it was a fantastic day! Avery asked me in the morning "Can I have as much candy as I want today?" She finally gets the magic of Halloween! :) Brady wanted to be something "cool" , so naturally, he was a basketball player. Avery decided to be something different than a princess (even though she when back and forth a few times) so she was a "sparkly good witch". Crew was happy to get a hand-me-down costume from Avery as a chick. He was flapping his arms like a chicken right away! They posed for me in my Grandma's backyard for some cute Halloween smiles.
Spence and I also had costumes for a Halloween party our friends had. I had very limited costume choices because really, how many pregnant nuns can there be? My sister, Abby, told me about this costume and Spence loved the idea of a basketball player because he had an old-school Karl Malone jersey that he loves. My headboard came off within minutes of getting to the party because it was like wearing a neck brace! We had a great time with our friends at the party. What a fun holiday!

A new day........

I know that a lot of people when they start blogging say "I finally did it!" and I don't want to be a blogging cliche but what the hey.................I can't help to say " I FINALLY DID IT!". I haven't wanted to commit to a blog because I have seen so many people who blog so faithfully, I felt like I couldn't do it. AND let's face it, Moms don't need another thing to feel guilty about! But I decided with the baby coming (THIS WEEK) I couldn't have a better time to start and let everyone know upfront that I will not be the best blogger (just ask my family about my contribution to our family blog). I hope you all go into this with very LOW expectations for me! It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new blogging life for me!
